(If you're dreaming of a pleasant warm oasis where the scent of freshly roasted coffee kicks in whenever you enter it - I believe that I have found it and I'm ready to share it with you. The small oasis named Kavantura is located on the Horvaćanska road 23A, and there you can enjoy the finest coffee made with a lot of love and skill every single day.)

(I've always loved the smell and the taste of coffee, but I have to admit that it took me a long time to learn to appreciate it. Just like wine production, coffee production and preparation is a form of art. Not every coffee is a good coffee, and a great deal of importance must be given to the way it is prepared. Aeropress, french press, mocha, chemex, turkish - there are various techniques of making coffee that give us that one perfect cup of coffee we desire so much.)
(Kavantura is brought to Zagreb by founders Dejan Ganžulić and Irena Rašeta. In addition to being the Croatian Champion in Aeropress, Dejan is the owner of the Imperija coffee company, whose coffee can be bought at Kavantura, the organizer of the Zagreb Coffee Break Festival (May 24 and 25, 2019. at the Zagreb Fair), a barista trainer and a blogger on the Kavopija website.)
Istog tog dana se odvijao i Kavanturin event Mirisi i okusi brazilske kave u suradnji s Coffers Direct, gdje sam probala predivnu bogatu kavu s planinskog lanca Caparaó.
(Motivation for my first visit to the Kavantura was their offer of plant based milk - soybean and almond, which really made me very happy because it is really difficult to find a café that offers exceptional good coffee and plant based milk. On that same day, Kavanturas event Fragrance and the flavors of Brazilian coffee in cooperation with Coffers Direct took place, where I tried the wonderful rich coffee from the mountain chain Caparaó.)

(This Saturday, February 23, in Kavantura, you could try organic coffee from Amsterdam's Bocca Coffee Roasters, which were established in 2001, and in 2015 they opened their own premises in Amsterdam. Bocca Coffee Roasters follow the whole process of coffee production, the so-called, bean-to-cup process, from picking and roasting coffee, up to packing and serving. The coffee that I had the chance to taste is called Gusto - a blend of coffee from Ethiopia and Brazil, more precisely - coffee plantations under the name of Fazenda Klem and Dimit Tero. What's special about that blend of coffee are the notes of milk chocolate, honey and berries that you can taste with every sip of it. Of course, these are natural aromas of certain types of coffee that associate us with individual tastes.)
Osim tradicionalnih napitaka poput espressa, americana, macchiata, cappuccina i café lattea, u ponudi imaju cold brew coffee, tursku kavu i filter kavu. Uz odabrani napitak u Kavanturi možete također probati bezglutenske sirove veganske kolače brenda Kokolach. Moja preporuka su badem - kardamom keksi i mađarica.
(In addition to traditional beverages such as espresso, americano, macchiato, cappuccino and café latte, they offer a cold brew coffee, Turkish coffee and filter coffee. With the selected beverage in Kavantura, you can also try the gluten free raw vegan cakes by brand named Kokolach. My recommendation is almond - cardamom cookies and "madjarica" (Croatian chocolate layered cake).)

(I believe my taste buds and my soul will enjoy Kavantura coffee many more times and I'm looking forward to attending the following events.) This sounds like such a cozy and inviting spot! I’m especially happy to hear that Kavantura offers Swiss Water decaf coffee—it’s not always easy to find quality decaf, and it’s even better when it’s made with care in a place that truly appreciates the craft. Can’t wait to visit next time I’m in Zagreb!
